Classes for Adults
a fun time out for you and your besties
An adult clay class consists of step by step instructions on how to make the project. I will never leave anyone behind and I offer any individual assistance as needed.
We will typically meet two times, once to make and once to glaze - two weeks apart - unless otherwise noted.
Class space is limited. Projects are available for pick up one week after class.
Blending colors: cup painting workshop
In this workshop you will get your choice of cup/mug. (See picture. They are—in order—Latte Cup, Thumbler, and Wavy Mug.) These cups/mugs are very big and will be dishwasher, microwave, and oven safe once they’ve been fired in the kiln.
We will learn how to paint our choice of cup/mug in a gradient/blended style, letting one color blend into the next. It’s a simple technique that anyone can learn! We will be using a group of glazes called celadons because they are colorful, there are lots of options, and they all play together nicely.
The cups will then be fired in the kiln and be ready for pickup within days.
